Califonia - better late than never.

Ok, I'm once again a blogger failure. Oh well. I guess I just will admit it and move on.

In September we went to California to celebrate George's birthday. It was so fun. This was the first time we have taken such a long car ride with paisley. However, she did GREAT! I was pretty shocked.

She never napped, but she didn't cry either...so I didn't care!

We arrived!! Walking down to the beach.
INSTANT feet up in the air. My girl does not like to get her feet messy!

She LOVED looking at the ocean. She seemed a bit mesmerized by it...but who isn't? This was her first time at the beach.

Papa G is not afraid to get wet or be cold...so he was more than happy to dip her feet in the water. She kept telling him, "more."

She has such a love for her Papa G.

Day 2. We went shopping and as we were walking to the store Adam noticed Jamie had her shirt on inside-out. It made for a great laugh.

Watching YouTube with Daddy.

She was so happy to be in the same house with all of us!

Having a birthday dinner for Papa G!

Jason and Tamra came to visit!! Paisley adored them.

I have to admit this was like the 100th attempt of a timed group photo.

Day 3. We hit up the San Diego Zoo.

I think her favorite part was walking and pushing her stroller...umm...we could have done that for free...

Jamie and her boys.

The guys of the family.

Paisley and Mae Mae.

Checking out the giraffes.

P and uncle Adam.

Comparing hands to the gorilla...Paisley's and Adam's.

This was probably her second favorite thing, the little play ground...and again, we could have done that for free somewhere else. :)

Checking out the polar bears.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she couldn't be any cuter.

Day 4. Being silly at the house.

We went shopping. This is confirmation that she is our daughter...trying on a Hurley hat.

Last day to visit the beach. (Notice: no feet in the sand.)

P and mommy.

P and Daddy.

Giving her a little pep talk about walking in the sand.

Watching the waves and Papa G body board.

We joked that he was probably the only 50 year old out there!

She started to like the sand more. Still not on her feet, but was ok with having it on her hands.

Sweet grandparents.

Love my family.

Great pictures. Paisley is adorable. I love the ocean pictures. I think it's so cute and funny that she doesn't like her feet dirty!

I love your vacation pictures. I can't believe George is only 50! Gosh, how am I older than him? Seeing Jamie with that shirt on inside out just cracks me up!!! That is hilarious! What has happened to our minds. It's so horrible! I can just see Adam telling her that! So funny! You do have a great family. Cherish them forever sweet friend.
