Last Thursday Paisley turned 6 weeks, she celebrated by sleeping all night! I think it was more a gift for me. She ate at 9:30 was in bed about 10 and woke up at 5:50a! I did the typical thing all moms say they do the night their baby sleeps all night long. I tipped toed into her room and gently put my hand on her chest to make sure she was still alive. So she woke up, ate, and then I put her back to bed until like 9-9:30a. (I was obviously still tired.) Since then she has slept through the night probably 3-4 times. I am just so thankful!!!
Here she is the first morning she slept all night...(I took off the swaddle)

So as I have mentioned before she gets pretty fussy around 7:30-8:00pm. We realized that when we would lay her on the counter to undress her for her bath she would instantly stop crying. It was funny, one night Aaron was walking around with her while she was screaming her head off and he turned on the faucet....INSTANT silence. Then she turned her head toward the sink to look. Well, we can't afford to just waste all that water and money so he found a rain sound on Itunes. It cost $10 so he didn't want to buy it if she didn't really like it. I would come in the office and there they would be on the computer, Paisley all relaxed and Aaron restarting the noise every 30 seconds (listening to the free preview). Needless to say we have now downloaded it and as a matter of fact I'm sitting here listening to the rain typing with one hand while she sleeps!

Yeah!!! Keep it up Paisley.
Bathtime Rocks!!! I can't wait for my little guy to sleep through the night. Yeah for Paisley. Way to Go!
I think you'll learn to do about everything with "one" hand. She'll only be little such a short time, so just hold that sweet thing all you can!
I am so glad she sleeps through the night for you now. Like I said...make it through 6 weeks and you're good to go. It took Jonas like 8 weeks, but who's counting. See you tomorrow!
Does this mean you have to move somewhere where it rains???? Or can we all just buy you CD's with differing rain sequences :). I really don't blame her, it is a soothing sound.
Wahoo! Congrats on a full night of sleep! Isn't it great to feel human again?!
Cool trick about the rain c.d.! I think I read a book once that suggested turning on the shower & standing in the bathroom when your baby is fussing! Your idea sounds cheaper & more earth friendly, though!
