It's the best time of the year...

With Paisley's first birthday right around the corner, I have found myself beyond busy. I keep thinking of all these homemade things I want to do...I start them...and then think, "What am I thinking? I don't have time for this!?!?"
After a huge runaround getting a new Christmas tree (because our old one was basically a fire hazard) I finally got it decorated. I love the white tree. I wish I could have bought different decorations, but I think I'm going to have to wait until the after Christmas sales and have new ones next year.

I was really worried about Paisley touching the tree, but so far she has kept her distance. Here she is checking it out for the first time.
I couldn't get her to stand in front of the tree to take her picture so I put her in the laundry basket. She's clapping her hands because she wants me to push her around the house in it. Can I just say I love being a stay at home mom so I can spend my mornings pushing my baby around the house in the laundry basket??? I know it's weird, but I so love every second of it.
